Made for More

A Retreat Journey
Not a Lecture Series
Made for More is a guided retreat experience designed for encounter, healing, and mission.

It is contemplative and immersive.
It does not rely on long talks.

Instead, it leads people into a rhythm that helps faith move from belief to lived discipleship.
Retreat Overview
Made for More is approximately 20 hours in total.

It is divided into six sessions, and each session is usually about 3 hours (including short breaks).

The retreat is ideal for a parish setting, but it can also be hosted in a retreat house for deeper immersion.
How the Retreat Unfolds
Each session follows a simple rhythm that gently draws participants deeper:

1) Short Dynamic Talks (10–15 minutes)
Clear, focused talks that offer one key insight at a time.
The aim is to spark prayer and reflection, not passive listening.

2) Guided Silence and Prayer
Participants are led into quiet listening.
This creates space for God’s voice to be heard in the heart.

3) Small Group Sharing (2–3 people)
Simple sharing in a safe setting helps participants name what touched them.
This builds faith, connection, and courage.

4) Repetition and Deepening
The rhythm repeats across the retreat.
Themes are revisited and deepened so the change becomes real and lasting.

Who Is This For?
Made for More is open to everyone.

It was designed with a simple foundation: to meet people where they are and gently lead them closer to God’s mission for their lives.

The retreat does not assume prior formation, theological knowledge, or a specific spiritual level. It begins with the basics — prayer, identity, healing, purpose — and builds from there.

Over the years, it has been offered to:
-
Mixed parish audiences
-
Young adults
-
Married couples
-
Retired participants
-
Professionals and workers
-
Lay leaders and ministry teams
-
Priests and religious
Because the structure is stable and clear, it works well with diverse groups. In many settings, participants from very different ages and backgrounds journey together and grow together.

When a retreat is hosted for a specific audience — for example youth, leaders, clergy, or couples — the tone, examples, and applications are adjusted to speak directly to that group. However, the six-session structure and contemplative rhythm remain the same.

This balance is important.

The framework stays solid.
The language becomes personal.

In this way, every participant — whatever their age, background, or stage of faith — can benefit and move forward with greater openness to God’s call.
