MADE FOR MORE

SHONA GLENNIE

Never Too Old to Learn

Fifty years walking with Jesus

“I am never too old to learn.”

Shona Glennie had been a Christian for fifty years when she attended Made for More. Her long relationship with Jesus did not leave her believing that she had already received everything there was to learn. Instead, the retreat renewed her desire to know more about how to walk with Christ.

Three words summarize what Shona carried away: reflect, reassess and realign. Reflection creates space to look honestly at the present journey. Reassessment asks what may need renewed attention or change. Realignment brings life back into harmony with Christ.

These movements are not limited to a particular age. Shona observed younger participants around her and believed that they, too, could benefit. Her testimony bridges generations by recognizing that every stage of life carries its own invitation to grow.

For someone beginning in faith, Made for More can establish a direction. For someone who has followed Jesus for decades, it can renew that direction and uncover areas that have become routine or neglected.

Shona's message is brief because it does not need to be complicated: no one becomes too old to learn. A mature faith remains teachable. It continues listening, reflecting and allowing Jesus to lead it towards something more.
